[The Cloak joins them in the dinner room, slipping onto the chair by Peter: it's clearly taken a shine on the boy, perhaps partly born out of its master's guilt for what he put the kid through.

The expression of surprise on Peter's face is noted but not commented on, and Stephen simply arches an eyebrow at his reply. It's not exactly what he meant when asking about the kid's well being, but he doesn't push the issue, letting Peter speak of what's on his mind in his own time. In his past life, he might have been annoyed by the lack of straightforwardness from the teen, but Strange has grown out of his impatience. Mostly.

He reaches out to take a burger and some fries out of the growing pile of food in front of Peter. If the teen looks up from the bag, he'll see that condiments and plates are now on the table, without Stephen having left the room:]

I'll admit that it might be well over a decade since the last time I had this particular brand of food. [He's old, he knows, no use pointing that out, Parker.] And I do have a normal phone, I just don't hand out the number often.

[And so saying, Peter will find a white business card at the bottom of his McD's brown bag when he finishes emptying it out, with only Stephen's number written on it. The sorcerer figures out that it might be useful for him to have it. If only to call ahead of showing up at the Sanctum.]
