But he hadn't had a chance to see Dr. Strange watching him — you know. Vanish. Evaporate? Peter had admittedly been drowning in anxiety and panic when it had happened, so focused on the terrible feeling curdling his stomach that he barely registered that everyone else, save for Tony, was truly gone.
But they're back. And Peter's trying figure out a good way to reconnect to the guy he'd beamed into space with. They were comrades, right? Heroes. It only felt right to say hi, to thank him for helping. Protecting. All that... good stuff. So he knocks on the front doors of the cool building with all the cool thingies (Tony explained it better, but you know...) —
