[ Her reaction is certainly encouraging, her tightening grip raising goosebumps on his skin as her tongue moves against his, somehow soft and prickly all at once, that bizarre new sensation filling him up. He tastes her in his own mouth, and it's so different that he stills for a moment, just to wrap himself around it. So, okay, this is why people do this.

And there's still so much to discover, to learn, so he takes his time, running his tongue along her teeth, jaw moving as they adjust and breathe and taste all in tandem. She's slowly filling him up, all he can see and smell and taste and hear and feel.

And god, it's good, how they fell into this, how they continue to fall into it. It's hard not to think, to not let his thoughts catch up with him and make him dizzy with his own reality, but instead, he focuses everything on this kiss - his hands on her warm body, her taste in his mouth, pulling her bottom lip taut with his teeth before kissing her deeply again, a hum low in his throat. ]

[ good isn't even a strong enough word for it. it's heady and intoxicating, and much of that she's sure can be attributed to the simple fact that this is new to them, that it's their first and there's really no replicating that, ever. especially when it feels so.. meaningful, like it was well worth waiting for this, for the right person, the right time. so many people rush into it, overeager, and have less than memorable experiences, and while alisaie didn't necessarily wait on purpose..

well, still, she's very glad that she never felt the urge or desire to push forward to it, to simply settle for someone or something that was not worth it. but she will remember this, absolutely, she will remember the chilly night air and the sparkling stars and the taste of him, the smell of his skin, the lopsided smile of this sweet, funny, sensitive boy.

so it's very easy to not hold back, to open right up into the kiss, into him, learning to navigate a kiss like this. it isn't easy, there are a lot of, err, moving parts, to to speak. their tempo isn't quite matched, sometimes she tilts her head before he's ready to, or stops to breathe at an inconvenient point, but it gets easier and easier. she maps his mouth, breathes him in, and into him, acquaints herself with the warm, slick texture of his tongue and lips, the kiss becoming deeper, deeper, hotter and hotter until her heart is pounding in her throat, her hands grasping him tightly. until she's dizzy with it.

she's never, uh, been particularly good at putting on the brakes for anything in her life. ]

[ The thing is, it's rarely up to Prompto to put the breaks on things. He's a follower, not a leader, and the fact that he'd managed to pony up and kiss her in the first place is nothing short of a miracle. And in everything that's followed, he takes her cues. When she stops to breathe, so does he. When her lips rim around his and her tongue delves deep into his mouth, so does his. When she doesn't stop, neither does he.

But everything in his mind is starting to get fuzzier, stickier, her mouth against his growing so hot and wet that he makes a sound near a whimper. His lips are starting to burn, his breath shuddering and ragged, as he speaks heady, rushed words right into her throat. ]

Alisaie - [ his hands fidget, heart pounding, teeth on her lips again ] - w-we should -

[ But god, he has no idea what they should do. ]

[ he's definitely gonna have to learn to use those rusty breaks if he wants to keep this up with her. alisaie is.. a headstrong girl, often ruled by her emotions and temper and natural spontaneity. she goes fast and hard, has a tendency to be obsessive and single-minded - naturally, it seems to have extended to this as well. she's chasing that warm feeling like a hound on the scent, delving for more, pressing in close, until his muttered words interrupt them like thunder rolling on the distant horizon.

it takes a moment for her mind to clear enough to understand what he's attempting to convey, and alisaie feels her ears burn hot, hotter than they already were, and she pulls back to chew her lip. ]

Ah.. s-sorry -

[ good god, he probably thinks she's - some shameless hussy, or even worse, desperate. and.. okay, that second one's not entirely incorrect in some ways, but still. please don't judge her prompto.. ]

[ She breaks away, and he gratefully gulps down needful air into his lungs. He slips back, but only just enough to meet her eyes. His entire face feels like it's on fire, and for the intensity of their kissing, it may as well be. Holy shit, that was...good. Really good, and a low, breathless chuckle rolls out of him as he licks his swollen lips. ]

N-no, it's okay, that was - phew! [ It's like he's still shaking stars out of his brain, and he has to remember how to talk now, to actually speak instead of just kiss. ]

Y-you're...really good at that...

[ Uh. What a compliment. He may not exactly be a kissing expert here, but judging by the way his skin is warm and buzzing, she was very, very good at it. ]

.. um, t-thank you.

[ i guess?? how do you respond to a compliment like that.........

at least he doesn't seem to be judging her for her, err, forwardness, so that's a bit of a relief; her grasp loosens a bit, and she exhales softly, a smile playing at the edges of her mouth. ]

I admit I have been.. thinking about it. About - y-you.

[ This thread of conversation isn't helping his burning face any, but it is...strangely complimentary. To suppose that she's been thinking about...kissing him. It's not as if he can't say the same, even if his own hypothetical daydream scenarios usually involved an air hockey table.

But this is better. Sitting out here beneath the clear sky and the stars, her warmth all around him, her taste still in his mouth...yeah. Better. ]

Yeah? I, uh - me, too. I mean - I've been...thinking about you. A lot.

[ A soft chuckle slips between them. ]

[ it was very difficult to say, but it also feels good to have admitted it, like a pressure has been released, a heaviness in her chest relieved. she's told no one about her feelings for prompto, though she's sure her brother has at least suspected, but to say it out loud - especially to prompto himself - to find it not only accepted, but returned.. it feels good. carrying around something so weighty had been very tiring.

but now it's out, and she doesn't need to worry about it anymore, doesn't have to quietly torment herself with assurances that it would be unrequited, that she would trip over her own feet, or never see him again. he's here, and her lips still tingle from the pressure of his own, her breath is still shallow from the effort of their kissing. it's all so unbelievable.

even though she.. winces noticeably when he brings up the puck, she will never live that down!! ]

I am.. glad to see that it did not frighten you away.

Ha - nah. It'll take more than a head wound to scare me off!

[ He's still feeling a little dizzy himself, and so to ground himself, he tips his head forward until his forehead meets hers. It's amazing. She's amazing. And this has absolutely been one of the best nights of his life.

So he doesn't say anything else, doesn't risk ruining this moment with words. Instead he just continues to hold her close, her scent and warmth all around him, reveling in this wonderful new shift in his life. ]

[ she'll still regret it forever. except maybe not. if she hadn't nailed him with that puck then she would not have accompanied him to the infirmary, and therefore never given him her number. of course, it may have still happened another time, in another way, but still. she wants to believe.

when she looks up toward him again it's furtive, her teeth worrying her lower lip, unable to hold his gaze for more than a few seconds at a time. ]

S-so does that mean.. um - are we..

[ For a silent moment, her words are met with a puzzled expression on his part. Does that mean they are...what? On a date? Yeah, they already established that. Both glad they came? Yeah, established that, too. Like kissing each other? That's definitely an affirmative. So what -

Oh.

The redness in his cheeks renews as his gaze drops away from hers, but still, he's smiling. ]

Y-you mean...a-are we...together? Like a...boyfriend/girlfriend kind of thing?

[ And in every verse, Prompto is bad at putting a name to it. ]

I...I'd like that. I-If you do, too, I mean.

[ at first she worries that he won't understand her meaning (she was obviously perfectly crystal clear!!), that she'll have to, heaven forbid, explain herself further.. but realization dawns, he blushes, and she blushes right back, both of them looking away from the other like the complete dweebs they are. and then he says the words, boyfriend/girlfriend, and she's sure she will combust on the spot.

what will he say? god, she'd asked too soon hadn't she, they'd only made out a little, on one date - is that enough? she doesn't understand how these things work, what is expected of her, what it all means. her heart flutters wildly, both anticipating and dreading his response. ]

You.. you do?

[ a positive response. she's intensely relieved, and yet somehow equally terrified, because what does that mean? having a boyfriend? but.. well, she supposes he has no idea either, so at least they're fumbling through it together. at last alisaie raises her eyes again, her mouth curving into a quiet smile, her fingers snagging in his collar. ]

I - yes, I'd like that.

[ She'd like that.

His smile positively beams, an impossible sort of laugh riding on his breath. He...can't believe this. Earlier today, if someone had asked him if he thought by the end of it he'd have a girlfriend, there's no way he would have said yes. And yet here he is, with a girl in his arms - a wonderful, beautiful girl at that - telling him that yes, she'd like to be his girlfriend.

There's really only one response he can give to that, and it's a chipper: ]

[ And then he's laughing again, but it's all so good and his heart is thundering and nearly bursting, and his tips his chin down to press his mouth to hers again with that laugh still on his lips. ]

[ terrifying as this new prospect is, it's also incredibly exciting, and alisaie is smiling broadly by the time he dips to kiss her again - and still smiling into it, against it. to be perfectly frank she also didn't think she would go home tonight with a boyfriend but i mean, she also halfway assumed she would never have a boyfriend in her life. people are too complicated, and relationships even moreso.

.. and yet here she is, betraying her own principles for a sunny smile and adorable freckles. oh well.

renewing her grasp, alisaie presses willingly right back into the kiss, leaning in close until they're tucked right up together. they should probably head back soon, the night is dragging on and it's getting rather chilly, but.. just a few seconds more, to enjoy this moment, this kiss. ]

[ He lets the kiss linger, lets the feeling of her lips, the shape of them, their warmth become familiar to his senses. Practically speaking, they can't stay up here forever, but he's never been too fond of practicality, and spending a few more moments like this, just holding her and kissing her sweetly, slowly, won't hurt.

When he does pull back again, it's reluctantly, but with warm smile, lips still aching from her kisses. ]

We should...probably get back.

[ UNFORTUNATELY. ]

[ it would definitely be great to just stay here, to never move again, to kiss him all night just to feel it, to enjoy his arms around her, to marvel at the fact that this is happening, that he's really holding her, kissing her, that she.. has a boyfriend, god. how had she been so lucky to stumble into this?

but her calves are falling asleep and her fingers are getting cold, even though the rest of her feels warm and flushed all over. ]

I suppose we should.

[ she'll get up for sure. look how fast she's ready to go. any second now. ]

[ it's been.. wild, really, having prompto. having a boyfriend. they were friends before they started dating of course, but it was spotty at best, and there'd always been that underlying something that both of them felt. it had drawn them together inevitably, and..

.. god, it's been so good. it's been terrifying and distracting, yes, but it's also been exhilarating and warm. every text she receives from him makes her smile, every outing exciting, every kiss still makes her heart race with a silly, embarrassing giddiness she can't contain or control. part of her is still waiting for the other shoe to drop. alisaie has never considered herself an optimist, but a brutal realist, cynical for her age, and all of this.. feels so often too good to be true. he'll break her heart, she thinks, he'll show a side of himself that he has been hiding, something ugly or unsavory but months pass and it does not happen. prompto's warmth is true, his kindness genuine, she has never known anyone quite like him, marvels every day that someone like him could exist. the world is a cold, cruel place after all, and yet somehow he has come through his heartaches with love to spare. even more incredibly, he has put up with her, her faults and temper and dark moods, her stubborn grouchiness.

not a moment passes that she does not feel incredibly, impossibly lucky.

and now, here - well, how can she be anything but cheerful? disney world truly does have a magic about it that even alisaie can appreciate, a merriness that she is not immune to. it certainly helps that this is their first real vacation together since their camping trip, the only time they've really had alone. sure there have been dates, plenty of them, and lazy afternoons spent with popcorn and netflix and pizza, but they have not had real time alone, they've not.. spent the night together. life (and roommates) have always seemed to interfere.

but now, now they're here, they've checked into their hotel and snagged breakfast and with her hand in his she's tugging him through the gates of magic kingdom, all of main street opening up before them. alisaie squeezes his hand, slowing to look into his face, to read his excitement, and she just can't stop smiling. ]

What would you like to do first?

[ This is like a dream come true.

Ever young at heart, he's always wanted to come here - wanted, but never been. Being an only child - and, okay, being a latchkey kid if we're being honest - hadn't left his parents with much motivation to take him on an expensive vacation to meet the likes of Mickey Mouse and Goofy when it would be for him only. He'd always hoped for someday, and even let it slip once to Alisaie when they'd talked about all the places they'd been and the ones they still wanted to go to. It'd been easy to share with her, and he never thought something would come of it. Not until he'd opened her Christmas gift to him. It makes the locket he'd given her all but pale in comparison, even if she'd insisted otherwise.

And now they're here. He's dazzled all at once, taken in by the sights and the sounds and the smells, the vibrant music and the happiness that seems to ride naturally on the air. And then there's Alisaie, at his side, squeezing his hand. She did this for him. She does...so much for him. More than she could ever realize, more than he could ever fully express. Being with her has been a whole other dream entirely, one that he lived in every single day, as she answers his good morning texts, as she snuggles against him while reading a book, as she kisses him sweetly in those fleeting private moments they've found together. That they've come here alone together isn't lost on him, and there's nothing he wants more than to spend this time with her and only her. This is going to be the most amazing week of his life.

Biting his lower lip, he looks wildly in every direction as they cross from Main Street to the hub. Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland...WHERE DOES HE EVEN BEGIN??? ]

Okay, okay, okay - I'm going to spin around in a circle with my eyes closed, and when you shout "stop" - we'll just head in whatever direction I'm facing.

[ it's definitely not a thoughtful decision, but it's also not even a little surprising. high as her mood is though alisaie can only laugh, bright and merry and warm, releasing his hand so she can stand back and give him some room to spin. ]
